West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will released the West Bengal Civil Service preliminary examination admit card today, January 27th, 2020. The candidates who have applied to appear for the preliminary exam can download the admit card from the official website, wbpsc.gov.in.

The Commission will conduct the preliminary examination on February 9th, 2020 from 12.00 noon to 2.30 pm at different venues in Kolkata and outlying centres.

The Commission is in the process of switching from older websites (pscwbonline.gov.in and pscwbapplication.in) to a newer website (wbpsc.gov.in). The older and newer websites are functional as of now; however, a complete switch will be made on February 1st. Candidates can download the admit card on both the websites until January 31st after which the admit card will be available only on wbpsc.gov.in.

How to download WBPSC Civil Service 2020 admit card;

1. Visit the WBPSC official website – https://wbpsc.gov.in/

2. On the right panel under ‘Candidate’s Corner’, click on the download admit card card link.

3. Once the admit card for the specific exam is released, the link for the same will get activated. Click on the link.

4. Enter the login information and submit.

5. The admit card can be accessed which needs to be downloaded and printed out.

The number of vacancies for which the selection process is being conducted will be revealed in the near future but the vacancies are for all the grades and for many state government departments. The recruitment process will involve three stages; preliminary exam, main exam, and personality/interview round. The preliminary exam scheduled to be conducted at 20 centres across the state.

WB PSC civil services prelims admit card: Exam pattern

The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper on general studies. The paper will be objective type having 200 multiple choice questions. Each question will be for one mark and candidates will have to solve it in two and half hour. Bihar BSEB STET 2019: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will conduct the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. The paper-1 will be conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and paper 2 from 2 to 4:30 pm. The admit card will be available on the website- bsebstet2019.in till January 28, 2020. The candidates can download it through the website.

The examination will be conducted in two phases- written test and physical fitness. Those who qualify the written exam will be called for the second round. The paper will be of 150 marks, out of which 100 marks are for written examination and 50 marks are for physical efficiency test.

Bihar BSEB STET 2019: Check these last minute tips and tricks

Call letter: Make sure you keep your admit card in your bag. Candidates should keep in mind that if they fail to carry the same, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall in any case.

Identity proof: Candidates also have to bring one photo identity proof such as passport/ Aadhaar/ PAN card/ Driving license/ voter’s Id card/ bank passbook with duly attested photograph/ identity card issued by a school or college/ gazetted officer in the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested photocopy thereof. The same should be submitted along with the call letter to the invigilators.

Items banned: Do not carry electronic gadgets inside the exam hall such as mobile phones or any other communication devices

Revise: If you have prepared notes than it is better to revise them. There’s no point starting a new topic at this point of time.

Leave on time: It is always better to reach the examination venue 30-40 minutes before the scheduled exam rather than reaching late and missing out the paper

Examination hall: Check the address of your centre properly before leaving for the exam in order to avoid last moment rush. If possible, do a recce.

Maintain a positive attitude: Maintaining your calm and a positive frame of mind is the key to perform well in any exam. Do not ponder about the leftover topics or how difficult or easy the paper would be. Just take a deep breath and have faith in your preparations

Time management: Do not dedicate more than 30-40 seconds on one particular question. In case you are confused or are unaware of the answer, move on to the next question and come back and attempt them in the end. As there would be negative marking, be careful and answer only those questions for which you are 100 per cent sure.

The aspirants should reach the exam venue one hour before STET starts. They should not bring any electronic gadget. Moreover, reports suggest candidates wearing shoes, socks and wristwatch will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. They need to wear slippers or sandals.

Bihar STET 2019 admit card: Bihar Secondary Teacher’s Eligibility Test (BSTET) 2019 admit card will be released today on the official website of Bihar Board. BSTET will be conducted on January 28, 2020. Candidates who have registered the exam will be able to download their admit card online.

Candidates can download their admit cards online at bsebstet2019.in.

The BSTET will be conducted in two shifts. Paper 1 will be conducted in morning shift from 10 am to 12:30 pm while the paper 2 will be conducted in evening shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates should report at the centre one hour before the commencement of exam.

UPSC CDS 1 Admit Card 2020: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the admit card of Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2020 (CDS 1 Exam 2020). As per the official notification, the UPSC CDS 1 Admit Card shall be issued three weeks before the commencement of the exam. Hence, CDS Admit Card is expected to release by next week.

UPSC CDS exam is scheduled to be held on 02 February 2020 (Sunday). Candidates who are appearing in the exam can download UPSC CDS Admit Card from UPSC official website www.upsc.gov.in. No Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.

UPSC CDS 1 Exam, for Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, will have questions on English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. Each subject is of 100 marks and to complete in 2 hours.

For admission to Officers’ Training Academy, there will be questions from 2 subjects i.e. English and General Knowledge of 100 marks each. The time duration allotted to each section is 2 hours.

There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer. The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) of General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as English.

UPSC is conducting the Combined Defence Services Examination for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) and Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

UPSC Geo Scientist Exam Schedule 2020: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam schedule for the Geo Scientist Exam on its official website. All those candidates who have applied for the UPSC Geo Scientist Posts Exam and have to appear for the preliminary examination can check the Exam Schedule available on the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) -i.e. https://upsc.gov.in/.

The UPSC Geo Scientist Preliminary Examination will be conducted on January 19, 2020.

UPSC ESE 2020: Important instructions for candidates

  • Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately.
  • Mention your Name, Roll Number, Registration ID and Name & Year of the Examination in all the correspondence with UPSC
  • Bring this e-Admit card (print out), along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card , in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results as its production before Service Selection Board is necessary
  • You are responsible for safe custody of the e-Admit Card and in the event of any other person using this e-Admit Card, the onus lies on you to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator
  • Candidates should note that any omission / mistake / discrepancy in encoding / filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection
  • Enter the Examination Hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination. Entry to the Examination Hall closes 10 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of the examination in each Session
  • If you appear at a centre / sub-centre other than the one indicated by the Commission in your e-Admit Card, your answer scripts will not be evaluated and your candidature is liable to be cancelled

IBPS Clerk 2019 Preliminary Exam

The Institute of banking personal services conducts exam every year to select candidates for the banking post across the country. The preliminary exam for 2019 is scheduled to take place on December 7, 2019. The exam is scheduled to end on December 8, 2019. Exam Pattern:
