Bihar Board intermediate exam 2019: 39 expelled on day 3, students find Biology MCQs confusing

Altogether 39 examinees were expelled for using unfair means during exam on the third day of intermediate examination conducted by the Bihar Board of Secondary Education (BSEB) on Wednesday.

The board conducted Biology exam in the first sitting, for which a total of 2,48,698 candidates had registeredwhile Economics and Foundation course examinations were held in the second sitting, for which a total of 96,231 and 569 candidates had registered respectively across the state.

Out of 39, eight were expelled in Rohtas, four each in Patna and Nalanda, three each in Jehanabad and Madhepura, two in Gaya, three in Siwan and one each in Nawada, Vaishali, Madhubani, Supaul, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Khagaria and Begusarai.

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor visited several exam centres including Gardanibagh Girls’ High School and Kamla Nehru Balika Uchchya Vidyalaya for surprise inspection and checked the security arrangements. Kishor also instructed the deployed magistrates and centre inspectors to maintain tight security for fair and peaceful conduct of examinations.

Students Speak:

Neha Kumari of Patna Collegiate School said, “Biology paper was a bit tough. MCQs had very similar and hence, confusing options. Overall, it was satisfactory.”

Another examinee Pallavi Kumari who took the examination at Bankipur Girls’ High School, said, “Paper was good but I had more expectations. Long-answer type questions were difficult to answer but I have given an attempt. I hope pass with good marks. ”

On February 6, the BSEB will conduct NRB exam in the first shift while Computer Science, Multi-Media and Web Technology, Yoga and Physical Education in the second shift. The examinations will end on February 13.

Bihar Board 12th Exam 2020 Begins: Bihar Inter Board Exam 2020 will officially begin today across the state, as per the official exam datesheet released earlier. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has put in place strict measures for the BSEB Intermediate Exam 2020 which is commencing today for the 12th Class students. According to the official statistics shared by the Bihar Board, nearly 12.5 lakh students from across Bihar will appear for Intermediate Board Exam 2020 today. In line with this, to ensure fair exams to avoid any incident of cheating or mal-practices; the Bihar Board has put in place strict security measures and supervision at examination centres.

Strict Security Measures to Counter Cheating

In the past, Bihar Board has had to face several embarrassing situations wherein instances of mass cheating, malpractices and such other irregularities during BSEB Inter Exam have been reports. Taking cognizance of this and to ensure that no such incident takes place during this year’s exam; BSEB has put in place strict security measures and supervision at the exam centres across the state. Students appearing for the Bihar 12th Board Exam 2020 will have to go through frisking and detailed checking by examiners before being allowed into the examination hall. On similar lines, Bihar Board has also deployed CCTV vigilance and videography of students at various places including the exam classrooms where they would be appearing for the exam.

Exam Day Instructions for Students

Students appearing for the Bihar 12th Board Exam 2020 must note that the in line with the strict security checks, they are required to report to their assigned examination centre in advance. At the entrance point, they will be checked thoroughly including frisking by examiners, so taking any electronic devices or books is completely prohibited to the examination hall. Students are also advised to carry the BSEB 12th Admit Cards 2020 to the exam hall and make sure that the details provided on it are correct. Bihar Inter Board Exam 2020 will be held in two shifts i.e. morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the afternoon session starting from 1:45 PM to 5 PM. Students for morning batch are required to report before 9:15 and afternoon batch latest by 1:30. Entry after this would not be allowed.

BSEB Dummy Admit Card 2020: Last date to submit corrections extended to November 25.

As per reports in leading dailies of the state, Bihar School Examination Board that is BSEB has extended the last date for schools to submit corrections in the second dummy admit card 2020 to November 25, 2019. Previously, the deadline was November 20, 2019. 

Although print notification about the date extension is not visible on the website, however the links to download dummy admit card are still active. It may be noted that students can only download the document and submit corrections to their schools, it is ultimately the responsibility of the head of institutions to ensure that corrections get submitted through the proper channel at biharboard.online, and bsebinteredu.in.

Reports further suggest that the board has extended the last date to submit fees of those candidates whose fees have not been submitted until now. The board has uploaded list of un-paid candidates for annual exam on the official websites. Such students should coordinate with their institutions to take the matter forward. 

BSEB has also released matric  and inter exam date sheets. Matric refers to class 10, and inter to class 12. 

As per the Bihar board 10th routine 2020, science exam will be held on February 17, 2020. Then mathematics will be held on February 18, 2020. Social science exam will be organized on February 19, 2020. English paper shall be held on February 20, 2020. Hindi, urdu, bengali, maithili language exam papers will be held on February 21, 2020. The test for second language has been scheduled for February 22, 2020. The last exam will be for optional subject, on February 24, 2020. 

On all the dates for Matric exams, there will be two shifts. Wherein first shift will be from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm. Whereas second will be from 1.45 pm to 5 pm. 

Bihar board 12th time table 2020 says that physics, history, RB hindi papers will be held on February 3, 2020. Then chemistry, political science, english shall be on February 4, 2020, biology, economics, foundation course exams will be held on February 5, 2020. Then NRB, computer science, multimedia and web technology, yoga and physical education exams will be held on February 6, 2020. 

Mathematics, MB, vocational trade I exams will be held on February 7, 2020. Then on February 8, 2020 will be the exams of agriculture, music, entrepreneurship, geography. Language subject, psychology, vocational trade II papers will be on February 10, 2020. February 11, 2020 is for NRB, philosophy, vocational trade III. Language subject, sociology, business studies, related subjects is on February 12, 2020. And the last exam date shall be February 13, 2020, for home science, economics, MB, accountancy.

In the exam date sheet, NRB means non rashtriya bhasha, RB means rashtriya bhasha, and MB means matriya bhasha.

Students should carry the officially issued Bihar board admit card 2020, not the dummy admit card, on the day of exam. The final admit card will have the final data as entered by students and schools after this correction segment.

Bihar 10th Sent Up Exam Datesheet 2020 Released: As per the latest up, Bihar Board has formally released the BSEB Matric Sent Up Exam Datesheet 2020. The Bihar 10th Sent Up Exam Time Table has been published by the Bihar School Examination Board and made available to the students are scheduled to appear for the Matric Exam in the coming days. According to the exam time table, the BSEB 10th Sent Up Exam 2020 will be held from 7th November 2019 onwards in two exam sessions i.e. in morning and afternoon session.  Bihar 10th Matric Exam 2020 – Exam Pattern

As listed above, the BSEB Matric Sent Up Exam 2020 will be held in two exam sessions i.e. morning session and afternoon session. The exam duration for all the exams will be of 3 hours each. Students must note that exam for General Science and Social Science Exam will be of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The morning session of BSEB 10th Sent Up Exam 2020 will commence at 9:30 AM and conclude at 12:45 PM in the afternoon. Similarly, the afternoon session will start at 1:15 PM and continue until 4:30 PM. According to the exam pattern of BSEB, the exam paper would be of 100 marks total of which objective questions would be of 50 marks while the rest of the 50 marks will be allotted to descriptive type questions.

BSEB Inter Sent Up Exam 2020

Earlier, Bihar Board hand also released the detailed exam schedule for BSEB 12th Sent Up Exam 2020. According to the timetable, the Bihar 12th Sent Up Exam commenced on 18th October 2019 and will conclude on 26th October 2019.

Bihar Board conducts the Sent Up Exam as a precursor to the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams. Candidates who are unable to clear the BSEB Sent Up Exam 2020 are not issued exam admit cards for the board exam 2020. Therefore, it is a must for all BSEB students to appear and clear the Sent Up Exam 2020.

Bihar Board 10th Time Table 2020 – BSEB Matric Time Table out

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the time table for its matric or 10th examination for 2020 at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. All students who are preparing to appear for their 10th finals can access the schedule on the official government website and also download it in PDF format.

The exams are scheduled to begin in February 2020 with English as the first paper, from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, which is the first shift. The second shift will start from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The BSEB Class 10 exams will continue till the end of the month.

Typically, each year Bihar School Examination Board carries out its annual secondary school examination in February or March on the basis of the syllabus or course as prescribed by the state government. Every year, students attempt to score outstanding marks in these examinations as the 10th matric results determine the initial bit of their career.

There are several government jobs, which are related to the secondary school exam results. Last year, many examinees received above-average scores in these exams. While most of the students opt for higher studies, there are a significant few who show interest in the available government jobs.

Bihar School Examination Board has released its schedule this soon so students can start preparing from beforehand. Last year, 15.47 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 examinations out of which 8.21 lakh students couldn’t clear them.

In the coming year, while the intermediate examinations will be conducted from February 6 to 16, they will be carried out in two shifts because of the increase in numbers. In totality, examinees have to appear for 3 hour 15 minutes, of which the first 15 minutes will be provided to read through the question paper and the remaining 3 hours will be allotted to write the answers for the examination.
