The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had earlier released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the positions of Analyst Programmer (Windows). Meanwhile, candidates must brace up now as the last date to apply for the positions is today, January 24.

“Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join IBPS as Analyst Programmer (Windows) is required to register for the online examination. Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be called for further process of selection which may include Group Exercises/Computer Programming Test / Interview etc,” read the official notification.

It further read, “Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination, interview and eligibility criteria, online registration processes, and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.”

The application process for the Indian Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2020 has already started on the official website for the IBPS on 22nd January 2020. Candidates must log-on to the official website @ ibpsonline.ibps.in/indbnsodec19/ and complete their applications as soon as possible.

The online application link will be deactivated on 10th February 2020. Thereafter, no new applications will be accepted under the Indian Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2020. The last date for the payment of the examination fee is 10th February 2020.

The application fee for candidates from the General category, EWS category, and OBC category is Rs. 600 and for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST or PH category is Rs. 100/-.

Only those candidates who will complete their online application process by the cut-off date will be eligible for participating in the Indian Bank Specialist Officer Exam 2020 to be conducted on 8th March 2020. The admit card for the exam will be available for download from 20th February 2020.

Candidates must take a printout of the admit card along with a valid identity proof on the day of the Indian Bank Specialist Officer Exam 2020. Any candidates appearing for the exam without the admit card will not be allowed to sit for it.

According to the recent update from The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), it has released the tentative calendar of the online examination for the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs).

In order to get the more detailed information regarding the examination, the candidates can visit the official website of ISBP i.e. www.ibps.in.

As per the official notice, the recruitment examination will start from August 2020, and it will continue until January 2021. The examination will be for IBPS RRB officer, IBPS SO, PO and clerk posts.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • The preliminary examination for the Officer Scale- I and Office Assistants will be held on 1st August 2nd August, 8th August, 9th August and 16th August 2020.
  • The Single examination for officer scale II and II recruitment will be held on 13th September 2020
  • The Officer Scale-I Main exam and office assistant main exam will be held on September 19th, 2020
  • The recruitment exam for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) stage I will be conducted on 3rd October 4th October and 10th October 2020. However, the Mains examination will be held on 28th November 2020
  • The IBPS Clerk specialist officer (SO) preliminary exams will be held on 26th December 26 and 27th December 2020
  • Finally, those who will clear the IBPS SO will appear for IBPS SO Main on 30th January 2021
  • At the end of the year, the preliminary exams for IBPS Clerk will also be held on 12th December 13th December and 19th December 2020
  • The selected candidates will then have to appear for the Mains examination next year on January 24th, 2021

According to the official notice, the registration process will have to be done through the online mode only. The candidates should note that there will a single registration for both the Prelims and Mains examination.

While registering themselves for the IBPS examination, the candidates will have to upload scanned copies of the following documents during registration:

  1. Photograph: Should be between 20 kb to 50 kb and in JPEG file format
  2. Signature: Should be between 10 kb to 20 kb and in JPEG file format

New Delhi: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS, a national level entity which conduct banking recruitment for its participating organisations, has released the tentative calendar for various recruitment process to be organised in 2020-21 year. The IBPS has now released the dates for Preliminary and Main exams to be held for recruitment such as IBPS RRB, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk and IBPS SO. According to the calendar, the IBPS RRB Officers and IBPS RRB Office Assistants Prelims exams will be held in August and the Mains in September.

The IBPS Probationary Officers or PO examinations will be held in October and November whereas the IBPS Clerks recruitment exams will be held in December and January.

The IBPS calendar has been released at ibps.in, the official website of the Institute.

According to the calendar, which was released on Thursday, prospective candidates are also advised to visit official website of IBPS www.ibps.in regularly for detailed notification for each of the examinations to be displayed in due course.

The registration process will be through online mode only and there will be a single registration for both Preliminary and Main examination, wherever applicable.

IBPS SO Prelim Result Announced; What’s Next.

New Delhi: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the prelim exam result for Specialist Officer recruitment yesterday. The result is available on the Official IBPS website. Candidates can view and download their result till January 13. Candidates who have qualified the IBPS SO prelim exam will have to appear for the IBPS SO Main exam.

The IBPS SO Main exam is scheduled on January 25, 2020. The main exam will also be computer-based and objective in nature.

The main exam will be held separately for Rajbhasha Adhikari post and all other posts separately. IBPS is conducting this exam for selection of eligible candidates for six designations – Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari.

The IBPS SO Main exam for Rajbhasha Adhikari will also have a descriptive element. The exam will be of 60 minutes duration in which 30 minutes are allotted to Objective and 30 minutes are allotted to Descriptive part. The objective part will have 45 questions and the descriptive part will have 2 questions.

For all other posts, the main exam will be of 45 minutes duration. There will be 60 objective questions to test a candidate’s professional knowledge. The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi.

“Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in the test of Online Main examination and also secure sufficiently high scores to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview,” says IBPS SO recruitment notice.
