IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has held the first slot of preliminary examination of IBPS PO 2019 today, October 12, 2019. The next slot of examination will be conducted on October 19, 2019. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can check the exam analysis here.
The IBPS Preliminary Examination 2019 started in the morning today. Based on students’ reaction the overall level of the exam in the first slot was moderate.
IBPS PO Prelims 2019 Exam Analysis: Section-wise analysis
Quantitative Aptitude: This section (a maximum of 35 questions) was to be done in 20 minutes. One major surprise was that there were no questions from Number Series. The difficulty level was moderate. An attempt above 22 can be considered good here.
English Language: A maximum of 30 questions had to be done in 20 minutes. The level of difficulty was high. An attempt above 20 can be considered good here.
Reasoning: Students had to do 35 questions in 20 minutes. The difficulty level was moderate. One major surprise was that there were no questions from syllogism. An attempt above 27 questions can be considered good.
Candidates who will be selected in the preliminary examination, they will have to appear for the main exam. The main examination will be conducted on November 30, 2019. IBPS PO 2019 will fill up 4252 posts of Probationary Officers in the organisation.
