As per the latest notification of West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC), it has started the recruitment process for the post of Assistant Director.

Therefore, the interested applicants are advised to visit the official website of WBPSC and fill up the application form through a prescribed format available on website. The candidates should make sure that, they complete the application process before the last date, i.e. 6th February 2020.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • For the position of Assistant Director, the candidates should have a Bachelors’ degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture with Horticulture as an elective subject from any recognized University
  • The candidates must produce all the documents related to educational qualifications, age proof, other relevant experience certificates whenever the Commission asks for it

AGE LIMIT

The age limit of candidates applying for post of Assistant Director should be 37 years as on 1st January 2020

s per the official notification released on 16th January 2020, the total number of available vacancies is 262. Out of which 244 vacancies pertain to the post of workshop instructor and 18 vacancies pertain to the post of Assistant Engineer.

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is looking for candidates for the post of Principal (Government Degree Colleges). WBPSC is the state agency authorized to hold the civil services examination for the appointments to the various civil services and other posts in the West Bengal City.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should note that the following educational qualifications will be accepted for the post of Principal by WBPSC:-

  1. Candidate must have a master degree with minimum score of 55 percent marks by any recognized university. There is relaxation applicable for the reserved categories as per provision -I.
  2. Candidate must have a Ph. D. Degree in concerned discipline in the institution concerned with evidence of Published work and research guidance.
  3. Candidate must have a min. score stipulated in the API (Academic Performance Indicator) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the U.G.C. regulation 2010 and subsequent amendment thereto in appendix III for direct recruitment of principal in colleges.
  4. Candidate with any other stipulations prescribed by UGC from time to time as accepted by the State Government will also be considered for the desired posts.
